Privacy policy
Last updated 6 October 2026. This policy describes the Privara apps and this website.
What Privara never does
Privara does not record, store, transcribe, or upload ambient microphone audio. It does not listen to conversations. It does not sell personal data or use it for advertising or tracking.
What stays on the device
On the phone or computer, Privara may keep:
- Protection and session metadata (when a session started or ended, verified state, interruptions).
- An optional local diagnostic trace if you turn it on in Privacy Console.
- Theme and similar display preferences.
- If you enroll: a device token in the Android Keystore or iOS Keychain, and the API address you entered.
You can delete the local timeline and session records in Settings → Data and privacy. That does not change what an organization already received if you enrolled.
If you enroll with an organization
Redeeming a code sends device facts the API already implements: platform, model, OS, and later heartbeats (last seen, optional management mode) plus attestation results (Play Integrity or App Attest). It records organization membership. It does not raise protection on the device and it does not upload audio or conversation content.
Organization admins can see devices, attestation status, and enrollment on the admin console. There is no server copy of secure-session events in the current API.
This website
This site is a public homepage and these legal pages. It does not operate devices and does not require an account. It does not embed advertising or analytics SDKs in this repository.
What we tell the stores
Play Data Safety (honest answers)
- Collected: device identifiers and coarse device info, only if the user enrolls.
- Not collected: microphone audio, location, contacts, photos, files, SMS, or advertising IDs.
- Shared: with the enrolling organization's admin, not with advertisers.
- Security: HTTPS on release builds; tokens in platform secure storage.
- Users can delete local history in the app.
Apple privacy nutrition labels
- Data Not Linked to You / Device ID: enrollment and heartbeat, app functionality, not used for tracking.
- Do not declare Microphone or Audio — the app does not access the microphone.
- Privacy tracking: no.
What the product does not claim
- It does not block every microphone on a consumer phone.
- A normal iPhone stays monitored. It cannot list other apps' microphone grants.
- It does not survive a compromised operating system.
