Support
Privara is a privacy verification app. This website does not control your phone and does not have a support inbox in this repository. Use the app first; if you enrolled, contact your organization administrator.
In the app
- Status — the verified protection state. Only the engine can say PROTECTED.
- Privacy → Privacy Console — timeline, permissions Privara can see, optional diagnostics.
- Settings → Data and privacy — what is stored, export, delete local history.
- Set up protection — grants Privara itself needs (notifications on Android).
What we can and cannot do
- Android can read microphone and camera sensor privacy, and whether some app is using them now — not which app, and not a block. A failed mic read is at risk, not monitored.
- iPhone sessions are monitored. Import App Privacy Report in Privacy Console for a 7-day audit. Background checks pause when the app is not open.
- Location services, capture of this window, and a Bluetooth audio route are observed when the probe can read them. They stay monitored, never Protected, on a consumer device. Desktop cannot verify location or screen capture on every OS.
- Session checklist is guidance only. Completing it does not make a device Protected. iPhone checks pause in the background; a reminder is not verification.
- Never records or uploads audio. See the privacy policy.
Enrollment
An enrollment code links the device to an organization. It does not make the device protected. Release builds talk to HTTPS APIs only.
